Overview

Your safety is our priority at HE4L. Our devices are designed for safe home use when used correctly.

Please read and follow all safety instructions before using your IPL Hair Remover or LED Therapy Device.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in skin irritation, injury, or reduced effectiveness.

IPL Hair Remover Safety

Who Should NOT Use IPL

Do not use the IPL device if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have a history of skin cancer or suspicious skin lesions

  • Have epilepsy or are sensitive to light flashes

  • Have very dark skin tone or very light (blonde, grey, red) hair

  • Are taking medications that increase light sensitivity

  • Have active skin conditions (infections, wounds, severe acne, inflammation)

If unsure, consult a medical professional before use.

Skin Safety Guidelines

  • Always perform a patch test 24 hours before full use

  • Use only on clean, dry, shaved skin

  • Do not use on tattoos, moles, scars, or damaged skin

  • Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment

  • Do not use more frequently than recommended

Eye Protection

  • Never look directly at the light flashes

  • Do not use near or around the eyes

  • Ensure the device is fully in contact with skin before flashing

LED Therapy Device Safety (Face)

General Use

Our LED therapy device is designed for facial skin treatment only.

  • Use only on clean, dry skin

  • Follow recommended session times

  • Do not overuse the device

Who Should NOT Use LED Therapy

Do not use if you:

  • Have light sensitivity or photosensitive conditions

  • Are taking medication that causes light sensitivity

  • Have active skin infections or open wounds

  • Have recently undergone cosmetic procedures (lasers, peels, injections)

Eye Safety

  • Avoid direct exposure to eyes

  • Keep eyes closed during treatment

  • Do not use directly over eyelids

General Safety Instructions

Proper Usage

  • Use devices only as instructed

  • Do not modify or disassemble the device

  • Keep away from water and extreme heat

  • Keep out of reach of children

Skin Reactions

Mild redness or warmth may occur after use and is normal.

Stop using the device immediately if you experience:

  • Severe irritation or burning

  • Blistering or swelling

  • Persistent discomfort
